On the second day, our Dutch partner visited Mudpond Be Koi Farm, where the koi are raised to their desired size. Given the large number of orders and the short delivery time, the most efficient way to raise them is in the koi’s natural habitat, the mud pond.
The purpose of this visit was not only to inspect the growth and development of the koi that had already been reserved, but also to personally select additional koi for an expanded order.To provide the clearest and most accurate evaluation, we harvested the mud pond on-site. Seeing each koi directly from the pond allows our partner to assess body conformation, skin quality, color development, and overall potential under natural conditions.
After reviewing the progress of the reserved koi, our partner continued with an exclusive hand-picking session, carefully selecting additional premium koi one by one to complete the large-scale order.At our farm, every major purchase is built on transparency, trust, and firsthand selection—ensuring that every koi meets the highest expectations before beginning its journey to its new home. This visit was truly memorable. We were no longer just partners, but we considered them family, traveling from across continents just to see each other in person.
