Tancho Koi Types Apparently Not Only Found in Kohaku Koi

Tancho koi fish has one character that is quite easy to recognize, namely on the part of the fish there is a solid round pattern on the head. Tancho koi fish itself is a koi originating from Japan, the name “Tancho” itself comes from Japanese which refers to the red pattern on the head of the fish.

Tancho koi fish themselves have several variations based on the patterns on their body colors, such as:

• Tancho kohaku: This kohaku koi fish itself has a white body with a red circle on its head.
• Tancho Sanke: The Tancho Sanke koi fish itself has the characteristics of a combination of white, black and a red circle on the head.
